This year’s Father Daughter Dance was a blast! After taking some beautiful pictures an hugging for Mrs. Graveley’s video, girls and their dads headed out to the gym for a delicious dinner. After everyone ate their fill, we all hit the dance floor for an amazing time filled with some of our favorite songs, including morale dance from Naz-A-Thon last year! Several dance circles broke out, and one of them even included the dads! As always, the gym was beautifully decorated, and every girl could find a star with her name on the front of the stage.

The Father Daughter Dance is without doubt my favorite event at Nazareth every year. I love getting to see my dad and all the other dads having such a great time. I don’t know about anyone else, but I get to see such a different side of my dad every year (he usually goes crazy with the dancing!) and the fun lasts even beyond the one night. We even got to see Mr. Adamchak dancing in the dance circle this year, and I gotta say, it was epic!

But my favorite dance of all is the slow dance. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, it might not hit too hard, but as a senior, I know this may be the last time I dance with my dad until my wedding day. Even if you aren’t graduating this year, remember to keep these moments close; someday you’ll be looking back at all your memories.
