Soccer Season Recap
November 30, 2022
The Nazareth Academy High School soccer team, coached by Daniel Bradley, had a very successful season. With a record of ten wins, seven losses, and one tie, it was an accomplished season. Through some tough losses and triumphant wins, the team held its own as a unit and was a force to be reckoned with. There were many highlights to the season including wins against St. Hubert’s and Archbishop Ryan High School. However, nothing was more exciting than defeating Villa Joseph Marie in overtime. It was the first win against Villa in several years. The team was led by senior captains Kayla Kinniry and Jenna Garzone. Their strong leadership and can-do spirit provided the motivation the team needed to come together and strive for success. While the 2022 season ended with a loss against Lansdale Catholic in the district championship, it was an amazing season, and the future is bright for the NAHS soccer team. The team will continue to build on its strong backline, agile midfield, and aggressive offense in the offseason, and will come back stronger than ever in 2023.
