Leadership Team Elections
May 10, 2023
Over the past few weeks, seven juniors have been campaigning for L team elections! They have all worked hard: making videos, putting up signs, and giving out candy and stickers. On April 27, each candidate gave a speech right before the voting began. Once the speeches were over, the student body voted for their top four candidates. At the end of the day, Mr. Meredith announced our winners: President Grace Reteneller, Vice President Annaliese Steiner, Secretary Nell Duesler, and Treasurer Grace Giordano! Congratulations girls! Here’s a little something from each of our new L team members.
Grace Reteneller: Hey Grace Ret here! I’m honored and super excited to be elected as Nazareth’s next L-Team President! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things we do this year! I am looking forward to working together as a team to make Naz the place to be! I know it is going to be a great, successful year and I hope everyone is as excited as I am!!
Annaliese Steiner: I am thrilled to be the new vice president on L-Team for this upcoming school year! I am so excited to work with such a great group of girls to make our school shine. Leading the school has always been a dream of mine, and I am so proud of all of us for accomplishing that goal. I can’t wait for the 2023-2024 school year, and I hope everyone is as excited as I am!!!
Nell Duesler: I couldn’t be more excited to be elected as the new L-Team Secretary! To be leading the school with some of my closest friends, especially my own cousin, is such an honor. I am looking forward to adding new Naz traditions and making the old ones better than ever! It’s going to be a great year, and I hope the rest of my classmates are looking forward to it as much as I am.
Grace Giordano: Hello, I am Grace Giordano, aka next year’s treasurer!!! I am very excited to be working with such a great group of girls next year. I am most looking forward to coming up with new fun activities that we can do and hopefully make new lifetime traditions for the next generations of Nazareth! When initially being elected, I was a little nervous knowing I have huge shoes to fill, but I know working together we can make history here!
