We all know that things have been very different this year and the Black Friday shopping tradition is no exception. With the restrictions from the coronavirus, some stores began offering Black Friday-like deals in early October. Other stores have opted to participate in Black Friday fully online. With these modifications, the long lines and chaos typically associated with Black Friday have disappeared. Many shoppers did their shopping online, while those who participated in the traditional Black Friday shopping spree expressed how easy, and surprisingly calm, their shopping experiences were. This year, Black Friday has risen to become the second-largest online spending day in the history of the United States, accumulating over $9 billion in sales. This year’s Black Friday is only beaten by Cyber Monday 2019. Considering the circumstances, Cyber Monday 2020 could possibly overtake Black Friday and last year’s Cyber Monday!
