On July 10th, Nazareth Academy welcomed its first-ever President, Mrs. Denise LePera. Mrs. LePera is the proud parent of two sons and the grandparent of two girls. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Neumann University. Mrs. LePera served as chief executive at Archbishop Ryan High School for three years, where she worked to promote the school and improve the budget. She also worked in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Roman Catholic High School for Boys. In 2016, Mrs. LePera was awarded the SmartCEO Brava Award for her work in organizational advancement and community impact. On September 22nd, Mrs. LePera was officially inducted as President of Nazareth Academy. As she stood before her family, friends, the CSFN Board, and her new Nazareth family, she vowed to uphold the values and mission of Nazareth. Nazareth’s chorale sang a beautiful Irish Blessing as a tribute to our new leader, and guests were invited to a brief reception. Channel 6 Action News and Nazareth’s Facebook Live stream recorded the induction induction. As president, Mrs. LePera maintains Nazareth’s marketing, development, and finance aspects, while Sister Rita Fanning will continue to lead academic and student life aspects as Principal. Mrs. LePera will work closely with the Advancement Office to promote Nazareth and raise funds for the school. Along with Sister Rita, Mrs. LePera will foster the unique sisterhood present at Nazareth. This school is one of a kind, and Mrs. LePera now has the opportunity to fully experience all the love that the students and faculty have to offer. We are excited to welcome Mrs. LePera and wish her the best of luck as she embarks on her new journey!
