On October 5th, Nazareth held its first blood drive since Covid-19. With over 25 girls donating, we exceeded our donation goal. However, there could have been more, but unfortunately, weight limits and iron levels restricted some of our Nazareth students and staff. This blood drive was an excellent demonstration of our panda pride and embracing our core values of faith, family, and education. We saw first-hand an example of a Nazareth girl’s generosity and willingness to help the community. We want to thank Daria Heletkanycz ’24, president of NHS, for organizing and setting up the blood drive; this event would not have occurred without her. We would also like to thank the volunteers from the Red Cross for their time and help. With intentions of doping this next year, we hope this number will continue to grow.
