Since it began in 2014, Naz-A-Thon has grown immensely. Then, our goal was just $5,000. Today, for our fourth year, we join together in hopes of raising $104,000 for the kids! Our devoted committee has been working very diligently since May to see that our goal is attained by November 10th.
Our first fundraiser of this school year was our first annual Pasta Night. Many people attended and dined on delicious pasta. The night ended up being an enjoyable time and an overall amazing
accomplishment as our first fundraiser!
Some other fundraisers that we have held so far were our Chipotle Dine Out night, our first-ever Zumba and Morale Dance Night, our Pizzeria Uno Dine Out night, and the Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast. These events were lots of fun for all who attended and a great success for our cause.
The Naz-A-Thon committee is ecstatic about the exciting things coming up before the big day! We are having bake sales at both the soccer and volleyball games and a paint night in union with the Art Department.
We are also having an Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream Night at Shadybrook Farms and a Pajama Tag Day. Lastly, for the whole month of October, Shadybrook Farms is donating a percentage of ticket sales from the various Halloween activities they are having. Using the code “naz” when ordering tickets online lets you save 10% and gives Naz-A-Thon 20% of the profit.
This year, the money we raise will be benefitting the Child Life Department, Neurology Department, and Diabetes Center at CHOP. November 10th will be an incredible day! The whole Nazareth community joining together as a whole to support such a wonderful cause is an experience so amazing and rewarding it is hard to put into words. We dance for the kids who can’t! One day, we will dance in celebration. Until then, we dance for a cure.
