Mr. Baxter teaches Spanish 1 and Spanish 3. He also is the homeroom moderator for 4C.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
A: I like to do yoga, and I also like to take an occasional nap.
Q: If you could travel to any place in the world, where would it be and why?
A: This question is so hard! If I had to pick one place, it would be Peru to see the Incan town of Machu Picchu.
Q: What is your favorite song/band and why?
A: My favorite song is “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. It has special meaning for me because my father’s favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz, and whenever I listen to it, I feel happy.
Mr. Severino teaches Freshman Biology & Algebra 1.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I have a black Labrador Retriever named Frankie. She is a great friend and follows me everywhere! I’ve always had pets throughout my life because they’re fantastic companions.
Q: What is your favorite food/s?
A: Tough call – Italian or Mexican!
Q: If you could travel to any place in the world, where would it be and why?
A: I visited Alaska years ago and never forgot just how pristine the wilderness was. At night, the landscape was a surreal snowfield that glittered under the stars and moonlight. The Northern Lights would cascade across the sky. I never forgot those sights and would love to return there someday.
Ms. Raymond is a Guidance Counselor responsible for 1/3 of each grade. She supports each individual on her roster academically, emotionally, and socially.
Q: What is your favorite song/band and why?
A: I love any 90’s music…particularly Alanis Morrisette and No Doubt. The music reminds me of a very happy, carefree time in High School.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
A: My free time is mainly taken up by my 6-year-old daughter! I am also in the middle of renovating a new home. I enjoy exercising, spending time with my parents, siblings, and extended family, and reading true crime novels.
Q: What is your favorite food/s?
A: My favorite food is Pad Thai.
Ms. Schroeder teaches all four levels of Latin.
Q: Why did you decide to teach the subject that you do?
A: I had thought about being a teacher since age 10. I loved school and learning and helping other people learn and do well in school. When I was 14, I started studying Latin, and I loved it. I was in the honor society, tutored, and formed a bond with my Latin teacher. By 16, I decided I should apply my unique skill set in Latin to a career.
Q: What is your favorite food/s?
A: I eat eggs and turkey bacon almost every day without getting tired of it, so that must be my favorite food.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
A: I love playing video games. I spent a good part of my summer playing Persona 5, and I’ve been an avid follower of the Assassin’s Creed series for the last few years.
