Nell Duesler '24, Guest Writer

On February 17th, Nazareth Academy’s Tri-M Honor Society hosted its 6th annual Battle of the Bands. Four bands competed playing classic rock songs including “Barracuda” by Heart and “Voodoo Child” by Jimi Hendrix. In addition, Wallace, Tonight! performed as the house band playing original songs including “Peach” and “Hop Skipper.” Nell Duesler ‘24 joined them to perform a cover of “Sofia” by Clairo and her original song, “Pay the Price.” Modern Yesterday was the winning band for the second year in a row, and Scarlet Sunflower won People’s Choice. It was a fantastic event which helped raise money for a recording studio at Nazareth!
