On January 26, 2025, NAPA hosted their annual fashion show for Nazareth Academy students and their families. This year’s theme was the Roaring 1920’s, transforming the school gymnasium into a spectacular speakeasy! The morning started out with a 10:00 AM Mass before the show. Following Mass, students and family members headed down to the gymnasium for a formal lunch surrounded by everything 1920s! Salad was served as an appetizer prior to the main course, which consisted of roasted potatoes, string beans, and chicken. A variety of beverages were available and creative drinks were served such as sprite mixed with edible glitter to add a unique touch. For dessert, petite fours were served; mini square cakes that fit in perfectly with the formal lunch theme. Sugar cookies were decorated with designs of 1920 flappers with blue, silver, and white icing. They were gorgeous and delicious.
Sweet P Boutique and Whim Jewelry brought their amazing products to feature during the event. Sweet P Boutique showcased beautiful and stylish wardrobe pieces. Whim Jewelry displayed their gorgeous jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, and necklaces ranging in a variety of colors and styles. A unique feature that Whim Jewelry had to offer was their permanent jewelry meant to stay on forever (or until cut off). This was a big hit with the younger crowd.
Anticipating the fashion show’s start, we were blown away by the students in their elegant prom dresses, casual yet chic outfits, and cozy cute sweaters with jeans. Each piece came with its own special touches. The array of patterns, textures, and colors allowed us to really take in what Dress Up Time, the provider of the fashion show apparel, had to offer. I enjoyed each aspect of the fashion show; from the delicious food, to the pop-up boutiques, and the stunning outfits worn by my classmates and friends. The event was a huge success, and I cannot wait to attend next year’s NAPA Fashion Show!
