On March 18th, 2025, students from Nazareth Academy High School who applied to be admitted into various honor societies gathered with their friends and families to be inducted into these societies. They also received their certificate and/or blazer pin commemorating their acceptance. A few examples of these societies are the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Quill and Scroll Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and many more! The students processed into the Chapel, two by two, and took their seats. Next, Mrs. Stanton delivered the invocation to the students, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. National Honor Society President Johanna Checchia gave us all a warm welcome speech to begin the ceremony. After all names were announced and certificates were awarded, Mrs. Quinn gave her remarks to all of Nazareth’s new honor society members. All students sang the Alma Mater, I Love My School A Million, for the closing and processed out of the chapel. Following the ceremony, light refreshments were served in the gymnasium. Taking part in my first Honors Convocation, I can say that this ceremony does an incredible job of honoring all of Nazareth Academy’s hardworking inductees and acknowledging their dedication to joining these prestigious societies!
