On Wednesday, April 30, the Nazareth Music Department hosted the annual Spring Concert! The performances ranged from vocal ensembles to different instrumental ensembles, to the full chorus and full orchestra. The concert began with the orchestra performing a medley of songs from “Wicked” and “Phantom of the Opera.” Next, the Jazz Band performed, followed by the String Ensemble. There was a brief intermission before the show continued with the Guitar Ensemble. The Guitar Ensemble was the final instrumental ensemble of the evening and was followed by three choral ensembles. First, Pandamonium sang “Landslide” acapella. The Chorale sang next, followed by the full chorus joining them to finish out the concert. The chorus performed a medley called, “Leading Ladies: Songs that Stopped the Show,” with solos by Gabz Moore, Aria Rooney, and Hailey Bradley. All of the ensembles performed beautifully, showing off all of their hard work throughout the semester.
Seniors were also honored at this concert and received a certificate for each ensemble they were in. The graduating seniors are Kayley Dao, Gabz Moore, Alexandria Braddock, Aria Rooney, Sloan Schreiber, Emily Dodson, Alison Muller, Julia Melnychuk, Hailey Albert, and Valentina McColgan. We will miss all of our seniors next year and wish them well in their next act.
