From November 6-9, Nazareth Academy’s theater department put on five sold-out shows of the Wizard of Oz! This timeless classic was brought to life by the beautiful scenery created by the crew along with the dedicated rehearsal time of the cast. The cast, crew, and directors worked tirelessly to create a magical experience for the audience, which proved true with every show selling out! The cast also welcomed some siblings of cast members to be munchkins and flying monkeys. This year saw some changes in the creative team with a new Director, Ms. Chmelko ‘05; Assistant Director and Costumer, Ms. Peyton; Choreographer, Mrs. Graveley ‘05; Assistant Vocal Director and Sound Technician, Ms. Kuchler; Stage Crew Manager, Ms. Kelly Orenshaw ‘05; and Music Director, Mr. Zagorski. This gifted team was able to put together an amazing show, showcasing our talented cast’s musical, acting, and dancing skills. What an amazing final show for our seniors as they follow their own yellow brick roads somewhere over the rainbow!
