The 2025 Nazareth annual Winter Concert and Candlelight Concert were a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season. The Orchestra, Chorus, Chorale, Jazz Band, String Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, and Pandamonium all performed. There was a vast assortment when it came to types of songs that were performed. Orchestra went from performing an upbeat theme song, Christmas Vacation, to a slower, more lyrical song, Christmas Waltz. A classic, Carol of the Bells, was performed by Pandamonium with a modern twist, while Guitar Ensemble performed Mistletoe, by Justin Bieber. As always, Chorus performed the well-loved Rhapsody of Christmas. This concert was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit before the break. The annual Candlelight concert was, as always, a great success. It is such a beautiful tradition that Nazareth holds in the Chapel. Once again, various groups performed including Orchestra, Chorus, Chorale and the Alumni Choir. It is always a great night, consisting of polish songs performed by Orchestra as well as the well-known carols, The First Noel, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and Silent Night which is when the candle lighting took place. Both concerts were an excellent way to prepare for the celebration of Christmas, and most importantly, the birth of Jesus.
