On Tuesday, November 25, as the school was eagerly awaiting Thanksgiving break, the juniors and seniors faced off in their annual Powderpuff Football game! Coming off a loss last year as juniors, the seniors were back and ready to win from kickoff. After starting the first flag football team in Nazareth history last spring, each team was a little more prepared and ready to go. Off the field, the rest of the school enjoyed hot chocolate and donuts from Federal Donut while rooting for their team of choice. Though light rain may have smeared some posters, the inclement weather did not dampen the energy of the crowd or the players. Back on the field, the juniors, outnumbering the seniors, were confident and motivated to win the trophy for the junior class. They were coached by Mr. Nolan, Mr. Tim Andrews, and Mr. Steve Sonneborn. In the end, the seniors, led by Mr. Clark, Mr. Marchese, and Mr. Adamchak, beat the juniors once again, with a score of 14-0, avenging their previous loss to last year’s seniors. Congratulations to the seniors and good luck to the class of ‘27 to avenge themselves next year against the class of ’28!
