Thursday, January 25th, was bittersweet for our Nazareth Seniors as they won against one of our neighborhood schools, St. Huberts. The team ended with a final score of 53-30, and they played their hearts out for all four quarters.
Seniors Grace Giordano, Sophie Maher, and Anna Kane started the game with a bang. They came onto the court ready to play with a smile on their faces. While these three were playing on the court, Senior managers Bre Bittner and Bridget Cheeseman held the fort down by keeping the book. Reese Power ’25 contributed to the senior night win with many assists and 26 points.
The girls concluded their night with a dinner organized by the Junior players to honor their hard work throughout the season. Coach Mary Kate McDade Magagna ’05 created a video showing some of their favorite moments throughout the season and years.
We wish Grace, Sophie, Anna, Bre, and Bridget the best of luck with the rest of the season and their life after Nazareth.
